Hi everyone,
I just returned from Johannesburg and want to share with you my experiences and above all my feelings about the trip.

If you know me personally, you know Celine Dion has always been one of my favorite singers. To be able to open for her is truly an honor. She was everything I thought she would be, an amazing artist with tremendous charisma and one truly exceptional voice. I didn’t realize it, but the concert was in honor of Nelson Mandela!

Celine and I visited an orphanage in the heart of Johanessberg. It was sad to see the children but they had such sweet smiles on their faces, it affected us both. One thing in particular stands out. While we were passing out gifts and clothing to the kids, I must have dropped a chocolate candybar I had brought with me. A child with a serious physical disability saw it and I as I turned and noticed him having difficulty picking it up, he got it…and then passed it back to me. It was a gesture that has made me reflect a lot. I hope the future is full of beautiful experiences like that, and I will make sure to tell you.

sono appena rientrato da Johannesburg e voglio condividere
con voi le mie esperienze e soprattutto le mie emozioni.
Chi mi conosce bene sa che Celine Dion è sempre stata in assoluto
la mia cantante preferita, poter quindi aprire un suo concerto è stato per me un grande onore.
Lei è stata una conferma, una grande artista con un forte carisma e una voce eccezionale.
Ho vissuto un’esperienza che ha sicuramente accresciuto il mio bagaglio artistico ma anche umano, il concerto infatti era a favore dell’associazione Nelson Mandela.
Abbiamo fatto visita ai bambini bisognosi in un quartiere della città, nonostante intorno ci fosse veramente tanta miseria, ci hanno commosso con i loro sorrisi e la loro dolcezza.
Un episodio mi ha colpito in particolare, mentre distribuivamo loro vari doni, un cioccolatino è caduto in terra, un bambino si è inchinato subito a raccoglierlo ma invece di tenerselo, come avrei immaginato facesse, me l’ha subito restituito; è stato un gesto che mi ha fatto riflettere molto.
Spero in futuro di vivere ancora esperienze belle come questa che sicuramente non mancherò di raccontarvi.
